Lamination = For the best protection, we employ liquid lamination. Our laminates are specifically designed to protect colours, provide enhanced abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and up to three years of durability without negatively impacting the flexibility.
UV Print = UV printing is a distinctive form of digital printing that involves the use of ultraviolet (UV) light to cure or dry UV ink almost as soon as it is applied to a prepared substrate. The UV printing process is unique. The product will be Matte after UV Printing.

A canvas banner does something a vinyl banner can’t: it makes your message look intentional, almost gallery-worthy. The woven cotton texture catches light differently than plastic, which is why so many businesses use canvas for anything they want to feel premium — restaurant specials, gallery installations, church welcome signs, wedding backdrops, and retail promotions. If you want your display to look like it belongs on a wall rather than propped up at a booth, canvas is the better material.
Our canvas banners are printed on 390 GSM art cotton, giving you a substantial, professional-grade fabric that won’t feel flimsy in hand or look cheap on display. We print using 840 DPI UV technology, which locks color into the fibers with more precision than standard digital printing — so gradients, fine text, and photography all come through cleanly. Every banner ships with a graphic front and back finished in white, giving your artwork a clean, neutral base to print against.
Canvas banners are a natural fit for:
Used outdoors, this canvas banner holds up well in normal weather conditions. For long-term or harsh outdoor exposure, we’d recommend pairing it with lamination for extra protection (see below).
You have two protective finish options at checkout:
If your banner will sit in direct sun for extended periods, either option will meaningfully extend its lifespan — lamination if you want a glossy look, UV printing if you prefer matte.
Setup is straightforward: use the standard 3″ pole pockets (top, bottom, or left-right, and customizable to your frame) or go pocket-free with an adhesive box strip for a clean, seamless mount. Cleaning is just as easy — wipe the surface down with a soft, lint-free cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid soaking the fabric or using harsh cleaning chemicals, as this can affect the print over time. With basic care, an indoor canvas banner can maintain its color and texture for years.

How long does a canvas banner last indoors versus outdoors?
A cotton canvas banner typically lasts 5–10 years indoors with normal handling. Outdoors, lifespan depends on sun and weather exposure — a laminated canvas banner can hold its color for up to 3 additional years compared to an unlaminated one, while UV-printed canvas resists fading better in direct sunlight due to the cured matte finish.
What’s the difference between a canvas banner and a vinyl banner?
Canvas banners are made from woven cotton fabric, giving them a textured, fine-art appearance, while vinyl banners are made from a synthetic PVC material with a smooth, glossy or matte surface. Vinyl is generally more weatherproof for heavy outdoor use, while canvas is preferred when the display needs to look premium, artistic, or gallery-style — such as for wall décor, photo backdrops, or retail branding.
What does 390 GSM mean for a canvas banner?
GSM stands for grams per square meter and measures the fabric’s weight and thickness. A 390 GSM canvas is considered heavyweight, meaning it’s thicker and more durable than lighter canvas options (some competitors use 250-345 GSM), resulting in less sagging, better print sharpness, and a sturdier feel when handled or hung.
Can a canvas banner be folded or rolled for storage and reuse?
Yes, a cotton canvas banner can be rolled for storage and reused across multiple events without cracking, which is a key difference from stiffer materials like PVC foam board. Folding is not recommended for long-term storage, as sharp creases can weaken the fabric fibers over repeated use — rolling the banner around a tube is the better method.
What is the minimum and maximum size for a custom canvas banner?
Canvas banners can be custom-ordered in both feet and inches to match your exact display space, with sizing entered directly at checkout. Because pricing and production scale with square footage, there’s no fixed minimum or maximum — the size is built around your specific width and height requirements rather than a fixed set of options.
